# Uninstalling Incredibuild

You should use the following procedure to uninstall Incredibuild, and not use the Add/Remove programs windows feature.

1. Run the installation file.

2. If you are planning to reinstall Incredibuild later, back up the following files that contain data from the Build List and Dashboard:

   C:\ProgramData\Incredibuild\Manager\Data\builds.db

   C:\ProgramData\Incredibuild\Manager\Data\dashboard.db

3. Select **Uninstall Incredibuild**.

4. Continue with the wizard until completion.
